Can I cancel my Pro plan anytime?
Since Pro and Verified are one-time payments, there's nothing to cancel. You get lifetime access immediately after purchase. If you request a refund within 7 days of purchase, we process it within 5–7 business days.
How does scope tracking work?
You create a project with milestones, deliverables, and deadlines. Share it with your client through the app. They can view progress, leave comments, and approve each milestone. Everything is tracked in real-time.
What payment methods do you accept for plans?
We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking through our secure payment gateway. All transactions are processed securely and your payment information is never stored on our servers.
Is there a free version available?
Yes! The free tier includes basic invoicing and one active project. Upgrade to Pro (₹299 one-time) or Verified (₹499 one-time) when you need unlimited projects, client approvals, and premium features.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the ScopeShield mobile application and website ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of India to use ScopeShield. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Services
ScopeShield provides a cloud-based SaaS platform for freelancers, including invoicing, project scope tracking, and client approval workflows. Paid plans ("Pro" and "Verified") are one-time payments that grant lifetime access to the applicable features. All payments are processed through our third-party payment gateway partner. ScopeShield does not hold, process, or facilitate any peer-to-peer payments between users.

4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. All activities that occur under your account are your sole responsibility. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Payment Terms
All plan purchases are one-time payments for lifetime access. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely through our payment gateway partner. We do not store your payment card or UPI details on our servers.

6. Refund Policy
Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days if requested within 7 days of purchase. After 7 days, no refunds are issued but your plan remains active for life. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy modal for full details.

7. Limitation of Liability
ScopeShield shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for your plan.

8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.

9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email or in-app notification.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide during registration, including your name, email address, phone number, and business details. We also collect usage data such as projects created, invoices generated, and app interactions to improve our service. Payment card information is processed and stored by our payment gateway partner and is never accessible to us.

2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to: (a) provide and maintain the Platform, (b) process plan purchases, (c) communicate with you about your account and feature updates, (d) improve and troubleshoot the Platform, and (e) comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored on secure servers located in India. We implement industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) for data in transit and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with: (a) our payment gateway partner for processing plan purchases, (b) legal authorities when required by law, and (c) service providers who assist in Platform operations under strict confidentiality agreements.

5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account closure, data is retained for up to 3 years to comply with legal and tax obligations, after which it is securely deleted.

6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may request a copy of your data by contacting us. You may also withdraw consent for data processing at any time, subject to contractual and legal limitations.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Refund Eligibility
Since Pro and Verified plans are one-time payments for lifetime access, refunds are available only within 7 days of the original purchase date. This cooling-off period allows you to evaluate the Platform risk-free.

2. Refund Processing Time
All eligible refunds are processed within 5–7 business days from the date of approval. The refund amount is credited to the original payment method used during purchase.

3. When Refunds Apply
A refund may be initiated in the following cases:
• Request made within 7 days of purchase.
• Duplicate or incorrect transaction due to a technical error.
• The Platform is unavailable for an extended period due to a technical fault on our side.

4. When Refunds Do Not Apply
Refunds are not applicable after 7 days from the date of purchase. Since the plan grants lifetime access, no pro-rated or partial refunds are issued. Disputes regarding feature availability are addressed through our support team.

5. Cancellation Process
Since all plans are one-time purchases with lifetime access, there is no recurring billing to cancel. Your access to the purchased features remains active indefinitely. To request a refund within the 7-day window:
• Open the ScopeShield app and go to Settings > Help & Support.
• Select "Request Refund" and provide your purchase details.
• Our team will process your request within 2 business days.
